Daradia is constantly innovating the learning process of pain management. It is reflected in its book publication too.

2nd Edition of Clinical Methods in pain medicine is now ready. 1st Edition was exhaused quickly within one & half years of its release.

Clinical methods in Pain MedicineIt is the 1st textbook on Clinical Methods in pain medicine in the whole world… Second improved edition of this pain management bbok is now ready and available on stand. Every medical specialty has its own way of evaluation of patients. Unfortunately Pain Medicine don’t have systematic methods of evaluation. This is the first attempt to develop clinical methods in Pain Medicine.

In practice, no patient will tell that ‘I am suffering from neuropathic pain of fibromyalgia’, so the doctor can prescribe pregabalin; nor patient will say that ‘I am feeling pain of facet joint’, so doctor can inject at facet joint. A physician must evaluate the patient to diagnose it as fibromyalgia or osteoarthritis of facet joint, to prescribe medicines or do interventions. As a pain physician, we need a good knowledge of orthopedician, neurologist, rheumatologist, physiatrist, psychiatrist with the skill of anesthesiologist, and neurosurgeon.

During our classes we have always felt the need of a book on pain management which covers a systematic approach for evaluation of patients of pain. The methods need to have strong scientificfoundations too, based on publications and evidence. As Gautam Das says, “My 15 years of clinical practice of pain medicine helped me to develop some systematic methods. This book on pain medicine is the arrangement of those approaches refined and extended further by my colleagues.”

Each chapter of this book is focused on regional pain like headache, neck pain, hand pain, chest pain etc. Apart from history analysis and clinical examination, there are two important sections in each chapter. One is identification of red flags or danger signals and another is diagnostic algorithms or flow chart to make a diagnosis.

Pain physicians around the whole world were in desperate need of such a book with sufficient photographs and illustrations. Physicians of other specialities will also be helped when they evaluate a patient suffering from pain. Our efforts will be successful if the physicians are benefitted by this book which is the first book of clinical method of this specialty.

Video book & textbook together: by
Gautam Das & R Gurumoorthi‘Common Pain Management Procedures’
About this book:Interventional pain management forms an integral part in multidisciplinary mode of pain management. To do any interventional pain procedure we should have better understanding about anatomy, disease process and procedure technique. Most of the interventional pain procedures are done under fluoroscopic control. As interventional pain procedure is totally a skill based technique, each performer should have a skill in interpreting two dimensional images of fluoroscopy to three dimensional anatomical structures. Most of  books on pain management tries to give information about these but leaves room for the readers imagination to understand about the procedure steps which can lead to some misunderstanding about the procedure. In this video library, we had tried to explain procedure from three dimensional animations linked to two dimensional fluoroscopic images so that readers can have easy learning and better understanding about the procedure. This video cum textbook is intended to cover most of the practical aspect in interventional pain procedures including preparation, pre procedural protocol, requirements, post procedural protocol, side effects and complications and discharge advice. These are based on standard recommendation and from practical experience of authors. This is included to help trainers and practitioners of interventional pain practice for smooth performance of procedure and to avoid miserable incidents during the procedure.Vol-1 (For basic level)Contents:Part 1: Lumbar selective nerve root block, Lumbar facet block, Lumbar rami communicantes block, Lumbar sympathetic nerve block Part 2: Sacroiliac joint injection, Caudal epidural block, Sacral nerve root block, Hypogastric plexus blockVol-2 (For Intermediate level)Contents:
